Surfing the internet I wound up on Scalemates looking for more Spitfire versions to augment my collection.
Lo and behold Plaza Japan was advertising that version on its website.
My adult brain hesitated before pressing the Place Order button, but not my child’s brain.

How many Spitfires in my collection?
There are many versions of the Spitfire, but I don’t have that many.
However, add these two versions which have arrived safely from Plaza Japan.
This one had arrived last week but I didn’t tell you about it’s safe arrival.

Plaza Japan is still chasing me on the Internet.
This time with these Spitfires.
I don’t have a Spitfire Mk. I in my collection and the Spitfire Mk.Vb I had built was from Airfix. That build was not what I had expected and it was a bit frustrating to say the least.
Frustration sometimes leads you to make impulse decisions. After ordering this model kit yesterday…
And this one…
I realized after ordering that there was one model kit of the Mk. I that was even better. I was left with this impulse decision.
